In time for the holiday Seattle To Portland Bicycle Ride, the 2025 season schedule for Cascade Bicycle Club is now available. Register for STP or one of our numerous rides and events to give yourself a gift that doesn't require wrapping paper.
First, the major news: starting Tuesday, January 7, members may register for the 46th Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic, presented by Alaska Airlines, which will take place from July 12–13. On February 4, a month later, the public can register.
This year, if you buy a STP 5-pack during early bird pricing, we're giving you the lowest price on STP in ten years. Beginning on January 7, members and the general public may buy a 5-pack of registration vouchers for only $144 apiece, for a total of 720. You may still purchase a STP 5-Pack for a 10% member price reduction after the early bird rate expires.

The Ultimate Adventure: Seattle to Portland Bicycle Ride 2025
The largest party on wheels in the Pacific Northwest, the Seattle To Portland Bicycle Ride, is a great opportunity to get your friends together and save money.
On February 8, we'll kick off our community events season with the Seattle Bike Swap and E-Bike Demo, where you can test ride a range of e-bikes and get gear offers at Seattle Center.
When Cascade's main riding season begins in late February, Bike Swap is an excellent time to get a new rain jacket or other winter bike gear.
That's when the stunning Bainbridge Island is the setting for Chilly Hilly, February 23. Mark your calendars and come test your legs on the most renowned winter ride in the Northwest, which concludes with a fiery chili feast. Registration for the Chilly Hilly begins on January 7.
The trip honoring the life of renowned Black bike racer Marshall "Major" Taylor takes place in the spring. A fundraiser for Cascade's Major Taylor Project, which fosters leadership qualities and instills a love of cycling in young people from a variety of backgrounds, the Ride for Major Taylor takes place on April 13. In order to accommodate participants of various levels, we provide both long and short courses. Registration begins on February 4.
Our Walla Walla Tour will resume on May 16–18, marking the start of our three-day tour season. The Walla Walla Tour offers an opportunity to discover the undulating farmlands, expansive sky, and wineries of southeast Washington state in the spring, if you haven't already. Members may register on February 11 and the general public can register on March 4.
The Flying Wheels Summer Century, May 31, takes place in late spring and traverses western Washington's foothills and rural roads. We have 50-, 70-, and 100-mile courses with a start and finish line celebration at Marymoor Park in Redmond. On March 4, registration will open.
From June 13–15, the Winthrop Gravel Tour will make its third visit to the picturesque Methow Valley in Washington state. Registration for members begins on February 11. This one sells out quickly, so sign up early.
The 206-mile STP, a must-do ride that draws cyclists from all around the area, the country, and the world, takes place in July. While most people bike in two days, others do so in one. Nothing compares to STP's early start, which crosses Seattle's University Bridge when the majority of the city is asleep.
The dates of the Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party are August 23–24. On the first day, participants bike to Bellingham, and on the second day, they cross the Canadian border. On the gorgeous downtown waterfront in Vancouver, there is a finish line celebration. RSVP member registration starts on March 4; general registration opens on April 1.

Prioritizing Membership in 2025

Riders who buy 5-packs during our early bird pricing will get the lowest STP registration fee in ten years.

We are providing a member-only registration period for STP, RSVP, and Tours in order to guarantee that our members receive priority when registering for our most popular rides. The general public will also have to pay more for these rides and tours.
Additional Gravel and a W&NB Ride
We want to launch a second gravel ride in 2025 as a result of our Winthrop Gravel Tour's success. Details and dates will follow.
Additionally, we're organizing a paid ride for women and non-binary people to raise money for a worthy cause. Stay tuned as dates and permits are still pending.
