2019 was a spectacular year for Dutch rider Annemiek van Vleuten. From winning one-day monuments like Liège–Bastogne–Liège to multi-day stage races like the Giro Rosa, Annemiek was dominant in women’s road cycling. The culmination of her year was an astonishing 105km solo effort to claim the Road World Championship by over two minutes from her nearest competitor. A brave attack that was one of the stand-out rides of the entire road racing year. Such a deserving victory deserved a special ride and for the 2020 season, Annemiek will be equipped with a unique bike and kit to match her rainbow jersey. She will debut her custom bike, rainbow jersey, and kit at the end of February commencing what is sure to be an incredible 2020 season.

The Design
SCOTT created a special World Champion design highlighting her incredible accomplishment while also drawing on her Dutch root. Throughout the bike you can find hints of her home such as windmill and tulips alongside details of her 105km solo attack and the venue where she won her World Championship – Yorkshire.
At first look the bike is subtle with the illusion of merely a black frame and silver logo. However, under light the bike comes alive reflecting colours that change at every angle. In essence, this bike speaks to the kind of rider Annemiek is, a humble yet incredibly fierce competitor on the World Tour.

Women of Cycling Calendar 2020
The goal for the 2020 calendar is to convey the passion for cycling even more. The focus is sports action pictures with beautiful landscapes! Daniel Geiger was again available as an excellent photographer for our calendars, as in previous years. Pretty hobby cyclists posed in front of his camera. What’s new? In every calendar picture there is also a second landscape picture, that show the location. Places of this year were the mythical “Tour de France” passes like Alpe d’Huez, Col du Galibier, Col de la Madeleine, Col de la Croix de Fer, Mont Ventoux etc…
Why? Kristin Atzeni, producer of the ‘Women of Cycling Calendar’ and passionate cyclist, says: “I rode with my husband 5 days this summer, over five of the beautiful French passes, and I liked that so much that I decided that I would return this year because it was so great! The highlight was the Mont Ventoux, which for me was the hardest pass of all. At the end of September I came back to make the cover picture of the new calendar.”
The 7th edition of the calendar is limited again to 5000 pieces.
