Wahoo ELEMNT BOLT Is Going Stealth

Wahoo Fitness, the leader in connected fitness devices and indoor cycling ecosystems, is proud to announce that all ELEMNT computers will now be able get new metrics from e-bikes. ELEMNT BOLT, the first GPS cycling computer designed to give cyclists an aerodynamic edge, will also be available in a stealth, black-on-black color scheme, the color most requested by Wahoo customers and athletes.

Along with their new look, Wahoo has also reduced the price of ELEMNT BOLT GPS Computers. A standalone ELEMNT BOLT, in any color, will now cost $229.99, down from $249.99.

ANT+ LEV Integration
With a firmware update available today, all ELEMNT computers are now able to receive key metrics from select Giant and Specialized e-bike models, as well as core data from any other ANT+ LEV e-bikes. Once paired with compatible e-bikes, ELEMNT computers with updated firmware will be able to display a bike’s remaining range, battery life, current mode, and assist percentage. In addition, ELEMNT workout screens will be able to tell riders how much time they spent in each of their e-bike zones, and estimated remaining range.

“With more cyclists choosing e-bikes to make commuting easier or to make recreational riding more fun, we’re excited to offer an update that will allow ELEMNT GPS computers to better serve those riders,” said Wahoo Product Manager Megan Powers. “The new update is our latest step to increase the number of sensors compatible with ELEMNT GPS computers, and we’re glad to help more cyclists take advantage of our class-leading cycling computers at a lower price.”

This new firmware will allow e-bike riders to see important data from their bike alongside other ride data, and give them access to Wahoo’s industry-leading, app-based user interface.

New DeFeet Spring 2020 Collection

Welcome to the premier issue of Yarn & Stripe. Whether you’re a longtime user of our products or new to DeFeet, you will find something new and refreshing in every upcoming issue. DeFeet began in 1992. We invented an entirely new type of sock, the “airflow design sock,” and we entered the cycling market. This type of customization had never existed before. DeFeet socks became an expression, a canvas for art, and the world’s top endurance athletes started knocking on our door.

Some insight into why are we naming our publication the Yarn & Stripe. The word “Yarn” means story, and it’s also the material we use to craft our products. “Stripe,” well, that’s a common design feature in a sock and nearly all things that have to do with racing – including a finish line. Stripe speaks to both beautiful design and the incredible racing heritage of DeFeet. The Yarn & Stripe is a gathering place in print and digital form that will share the experiences, rich history, people, and events that have influenced DeFeet and provide information about our products and how to use them.

Kosynier Delux Looks Like a Beautiful Classic Motorbike

Hand made by skilled craftsman, electric bike Kosynier deLux origin from century old motorbikes. Electric powertrain matches stylish design. Many consider it as original retro motorbike, asking for production year. Due to carefully crafted details, Kosynier thrills almost everyone. If you value retro motorbike and you want to stay eco, Kosynier is for you.

Kosynier was established by Marcin and Michal Bielawski who come from family with long blacksmith tradition. Small shop once opened by grandfather, was known for horseshoe repairs followed by production of agricultural machines. New generation took over the shop and started retro electric bikes manufacture.

Bielawski brothers were always keen to deal with vintage vehicles. Young boys passion for vintage motorbikes, ended up in purchase of 1965 Ford Mustang. Many ask about the Kosynier origin. It came natural. Classic lines, beautiful design was always around them if not in real life then in books and catalogs.

What is the main assumption about Kosynier manufacture?
To produce retro vehicles with electric powertrain with as many handmade parts as possible. Fenders, tank, lights are designed and made locally especially for Kosynier using metal spining technics rather than stamping. Purses, belts are handmade by purse maker. 100 years old blacksmith shop is still used to make main frame and front suspension. Thanks to few grants, shop was modernized and new welding table, milling machine and lathe were added. Advanced machinery supports handmade skills. Quality is another well looked issue. Quality check station is going to be equipped by one of the most recognized company in the quality business.

“We want to produce beautiful, top quality vehicles” say Marcin Bielawski. Parts, materials used come from top suppliers. Batteries pack have the same origin as those used in Tesla – Panasonic/Sanyo. 250 w motor with top speed of 25km/h along with 24ah batteries allows for 100 km ride. Kosynier delux meets the eu standards regarding electric bikes.

Where does Kosynier look come from?
Inspiration comes from motorbikes dating back whole century ago. 100 years ago most of the motorbikes had similar look. In the close neighborhood, lech, the very first polish motorbike was made in 1929. Kosynier wants to pamper electro vehicles and its owners. Each one of them will get to know manufacturing process from scratch to final model. Special player using 6 cameras was made to show the whole process. At any moment it will be possible to change the view and check how the bike was made. Idea of such solution comes from

Marcin who also works as camera operator for one of the national networks. Reporting from Afghanistan, having chance to work with presidents and prime ministers Marcin traveled almost around the world following major political and sport events. When is not working with kosynier he makes movies for Mustang Klub Poland. Some of them were even played in Ford hq in Dearborn Michigan.
