Tour’19 Photo and Video Gallery: This should have been the final week-end of the 2020 Tour de France (original dates). 2019 was a very good French Grand Tour and Egan Bernal is proof of a ‘new guard’ in the World of the professional peloton. Here is our selection of the best and different images from the finalé. Vive la Tour!

Another Tour win for Sky/Ineos
The 2019 Tour de France was one of the best for years, keeping us on the edge of our seats for most days of the three weeks. You could say the final days were an anticlimax, due to the effects of the weather, but it’s all part of the game and in the end the best man won. The semi-annulment of stage 19 and the shortening of stage 20 was a bit of a disappointment, but they were still full of action and, considering the road conditions, unavoidable. So, it was a great Tour de France and for the first time in years, better than the Giro d’Italia.

Stage 20:
The penultimate stage was shortened to 59 kilometres after the snow, hail and mudslides of the previous day. It wasn’t a good day for Julian Alaphilippe, but it was for Egan Bernal and Vincenzo Nibali.
