PEZ SEz: Staying sane in these crazy times may call for crazy measures –  like finding your two-wheeled fun in places you might not have looked before.  Now after a few weeks of testing, I’ve discovered that scootering is indeed as fun as it looks – thanks to the TurboAnt X7 Pro scooter.

I’ve battled both my young daughters for dibs, and we’ve even said (…out loud…) that we should get a second one so we can scoot together.

With a claimed range of 30km, and a top speed of 20mph (I’ve had mine up to 28kph), this is a great way to get around town, your neighborhood, or even as a backup on that family road trip.

Controls are all electronic – except for the handlebar mounted cable disc brake.  Speed is controlled with a moto-style thumb throttle that even has cruise control.

It folds up for easy storage and transport into your office or home, and overall build quality and operation has been solid and reliable.

I’ll have a more detailed review coming soon – but suffice to say that my impressions have been good.  And don’t worry – we’re not turning into “PezScooterNews” – but who wouldn’t want to find one of these under the tree come Christmas morning?

Giro Helios Spherical™ Helmet
